The new iPhone SE, launched by Apple in early March, finally arrives in Brazil for pre-sale this Friday (1). With this, it is now possible to reserve the latest model of the manufacturer’s entry-level smartphone. The device will be available on the 8th of April and really brings better battery life than its predecessor, as confirmed by some tests.
There are three options for color, storage and price. The third-generation iPhone SE is now available for pre-order in midnight (black), stellar (white) and red (red) colors. The smartphone also comes with 64GB, 128GB or 256GB versions. Their prices are R$4,199, R$4,699 and R$5,699, respectively.
Along with the iPhone SE (2022), Apple has also started pre-ordering the iPhones 13 and iPhone 13 Pro in the new green color . The dates are the same: purchases can be made today, and the devices will be available from the 8th of April.
New iPhone SE Battery Really Lasts Longer
Apple has already stated that the new generation of the iPhone SE comes with a 2,018mAh battery, a reasonable upgrade compared to the 2020 model, of 1,821mAh. This is about a 10% increase in capacity, but size doesn’t always matter.
However, some tests have already shown that the autonomy is indeed greater. The combination of a higher rated capacity combined with the system optimization and energy efficiency of the latest A15 Bionic processor results in about two hours more usage compared to the second generation iPhone SE .
YouTube channels SimplyPops and UltimateiDeviceVids performed similar battery tests with the 2016, 2020 and 2022 models. Under the same conditions of use, the new iPhone SE won in all comparisons.
