Huawei Sound Joy, rival of JBL Flip 6, arrives in Brazil with 26h autonomy

Huawei presented, (27), a new line of products for the Brazilian market. To compete with the popular JBL Flip 6, the company announced the Huawei Sound Joy Bluetooth speaker . The new speaker is highlighted by the fabric design with IP67 protection and the large 8,800 mAh battery, which guarantees up to 26 hours of sound.

Common in portable speakers, the Huawei Sound Joy gained a fabric body, available in green and black. The company calls this system “super stereo fabric” as the material enhances sound output and reproduction.

Speaking of audio, the device is equipped with four speakers, two passive radiators for bass, a 20-watt center speaker and a 10-watt tweeter . Huawei says Sound Joy was developed in partnership with Devialet, a French audio technology company.

It also has Shake Stereo Pair technology that, as its name suggests, allows you to connect a speaker to another Sound Joy just by shaking, to have a stereo sound experience.

The connectivity system is still formed by Bluetooth 5.2 LE (Low Energy) and NFC technology , for music playback when you bring the cell phone close to the box. Bringing two microphones, the user can also trigger the virtual assistant of the other connected device, “making” Sound Joy a smart speaker.

Power comes from the USB-C port and Huawei already sends a cable in the package for this purpose. Equipped with a large battery, the device can play for up to 26 hours. For comparison, the rival Flip 6 can play for 12 hours and the LG Xboom Go PL7 , 24 hours.
