Galaxy A52 5G will get successor soon

Launched in March 2021, the Galaxy A52 5G should get a successor soon. The Galaxy A53 5G went through the Chinese agency responsible for the approval of products of this type. The documents contain practically all the technical specifications, such as bigger battery, cameras and processor

The Galaxy A53 5G that appears on TENAA has an octa-core processor with a maximum frequency of 2.4 GHz and 8 GB of RAM. The screen has FullHD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) and 6.46 inches diagonally. It must be AMOLED, as there is an indication that the smartphone will have the always-on display feature.

The agency talks about five cameras, three at the back, with 64, 32 and 5 megapixels, and two at the front, with 12 and 5 megapixels. There must be some mistake here, however. Previously obtained renderings and TENAA’s own images, however, show the Galaxy A53 5G with four rear cameras and only one front camera.

Regarding dimensions, it will be 159.5 x 74.7 x 8.1 mm and weigh 190 g. The battery has 5,000 mAh and the device should come with a 15 W charger.

Other leaks point to slightly different information.

On Geekbench, the smartphone performance test platform, the successor to the Galaxy A52 5G that appeared has the code SM-A536U and runs Android 12, but has 6 GB of RAM. A specification that appears there is the Exynos 1200 processor, which has two performance cores with 2.4 GHz and six with 2 GHz.

You can imagine that this is another version of the same model. There are also rumors of versions with different chipsets for different markets. An option with 12 GB of RAM is not ruled out.
