Bad sound
It’s normal for these laptops to have weak and unsatisfying speakers, but this laptop’s speakers are a little worse than the others. No problem, but I recommend using a bluetooth headset or headphones in conjunction with this laptop. It will greatly improve the user experience. Don’t rely on the built-in sound to watch movies, series or play games. You can’t have it all, and the Acer Nitro ends up erring on the audio quality side.
Keyboard is not RGB

Well, the reasoning is kind of silly, I know. But now, every player has an RGB color-themed room and setup, and here we have only one color option. I know the Acer Nitro theme is red and we have these plastic details on the back, but it would be nice to be able to change the keyboard color like we do on other laptops. It’s a simple detail, but I admit I missed it.
It’s not portable laptops

Gaming laptops have a reputation for being rugged rather than portable, and this one is no exception. The animal was heavy, weighing two and a half kilos. Its fonts are also large and difficult to handle, so it’s not a piece of paper to carry around all day.
Like every Note player, you’re not going to play without a power connection and you’re not going to use it in bed, it’s going to get hot.
Oh, and don’t even think about using it only with battery, it lasts very little. So keep that in mind when buying an Acer Nitro and just about any gaming laptop.
low RAM
Now let’s get to the serious part. This notebook only comes with 8GB of RAM, which is a bit strange. It’s a gaming laptop – built for gaming. In tests on the Roda Liso channel, we saw that it performed poorly with only one memory stick. What’s the point of putting such a powerful octa-core processor and saving memory? Fortunately, we can buy and install another stick which I recommend if you plan on playing it, but Acer is passing this on to the consumer rather than simply releasing a slightly more expensive but bottleneck-free product. . 8 GB of notebook memory costs about R$200. For this price difference, we have a notebook that could be better.
outdated graphics card
I save the most important for last. In my opinion, this is a deciding factor for this product – the main reason not to buy it. Unlike RAM, there is no solution to this problem here.
In testing Roda Liso, we struggled to run most modern games. Even slow down the graphics. Sometimes it’s impossible to go beyond 60 fps, like in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Warzone.
Even in more competitive games like PUBG and Fortnite, we need to set the graphics to ultra-low to reach 60 FPS. So a 144Hz display is redundant for this notebook, as most games don’t even come close to that frame rate, no matter how low the graphics.
